I’m ready to get a scanner and finally get my office cleared.

But I just can’t justify spending over $300 or $400 for one of the SnapScans; the smaller ones seem to have feed issues .

So do any of you have experience with other brands that work with a Mac that are more affordable?

i have an HP multi-functional printer too.
it scans, but it isn’t hugely fast. the quality is excellent, though.
it scans directly ( and wirelessly; be still my heart) to my imac.
there is no feed….i have to manually place pages in the scanner.
i am not doing tons of scanning, so this suits me just fine.

I just discovered that I’m getting way more of a tax refund than I ever dared hope — more than enough to spring for an overpriced SnapScan. Yea!!!!

I had an older ScanSnap. The dog chewed the cord, and the replacement didn’t work well, so finally out of frustration I went to Amazon and purchased the expensive version that was recently reviewed on Unclutterer. I am *SO* glad that I did. I’m finally achieving that dream of getting all my paper scanned, filed, and recycled. It’s amazing, and it’s worth every penny (which I am also paying for via tax refund). I don’t know about Macs, but anyway, this scanner is definitely worth it. It’s amazing.
