Unitasker Wednesday: Perfect Pancake Pan

All Unitasker Wednesday posts are jokes — we don’t want you to buy these items, we want you to laugh at their ridiculousness. Enjoy!

There is no need for me to discuss the unitaskerness of this device because it is so over-the-top unitaskery it could be the poster child for all unitaskers. Introducing the Perfect Pancake Pan:

A pan. Just for pancakes. For people who have apparently never heard of griddles.

Griddles, people! GRIDDLES! They’re amazing and extremely useful and you can make pancakes AND sausages, hash browns, eggs, bacon, and most everything else you want for breakfast on just a single griddle.

Thankfully, there is an infomercial full of people who don’t know how to make pancakes for us to enjoy (and mock) as a consolation prize:

It’s pretty much got a griddle on one side. Since it folds, it’s easier to store than a full size griddle. The directions also show that you can also make eggs with it. I can accept my lack of pancake making skills but if you are going to pimp griddles….which would you recommend?

Griddles are also great for making a bunch of grilled cheese sandwiches at once.

@Polly — If money were no object and I had my druthers and were in need of a griddle, I’d pre-order the Baking Steel Griddle: http://www.bakingsteel.com/baking-steel-griddle/ As of right now, I use a Lodge cast iron one that I have no reason to replace and that will last a few lifetimes: https://www.lodgemfg.com/griddles-and-grill-pans/double-play-reversible-grill-griddle.asp

I usually agree with all the Unitasker items but I was gifted this pan and it’s the best! I use it for everything including pancakes, eggs, grilled cheese sandwiches, hamburgers, etc. I love that it folds and that is minimal oil needed…just a spray and things flip out easily. This is one unitasker item I will keep!

I would recommend the Cuisinart Griddler

It cooks a variety of things, has removable cooking grills, fits neatly on the counter, and replaced a foreman grill, a waffle maker and some old pans.

I would but this for what ever reason my boys want nothing to do with the kitchen. If this would make it easier for them i am all for it i will make the batter but they need to learn selfsufficency.
