Unitasker Wednesday: Vessyl

All Unitasker Wednesday posts are jokes β€” we aren’t trying to encourage you to buy these items, we are trying to get you to laugh at their ridiculousness. Enjoy!

This week’s unitasker selection is the Vessyl. And, there is nothing I could write about it that would be as entertaining as what Stephen Colbert has already said:

Thanks to reader Tabitha for bringing our attention to Colbert’s segment.

    Thanks Erin and Tabitha πŸ™‚
My husband and I had a very good laugh.

What will they think of next?

I watched the Vessyl video and, boy, are they serious about their product! It took seven years to make it. They claim that Vessyl can change your life because you will be more informed about your beverage choices and you can make better choices about what you drink. I am sure that I do not need to buy this product. I am already aware of what I drink and i make choices to drink liquids that are healthy for me. I do, however, wish I could at least read what Colbert said – can anybody watch the video and write it up?

Oh, I forgot that Colbert generally has lot to say on any subject and Vessyl was no exception. I just did a web search for Colbert Vessyl and was able to watch the video. Yes, it was funny!

I wonder just how many unclutterer readers couldn’t view the video due to geographical issues, older computers, not being on cable/DSL, etc.

@Seanette — It’s just a YouTube clip. Nothing fancy at all. I put the text of the link into the post above so hopefully that will help some folks. So odd. Never had an issue with YouTube clips before. Wonder if they changed something with their embed code??

At first I thought that this is a stupid idea, and the way they advertise it is ridiculous. But after a while I thought that if the future version could really tell what’s inside, including chemical ingredients, fat percentage, sugars, unwanted substances, drugs, etc., man, that would be awesome.

I watched Vessyl’s video and Colbert’s video. He had a very funny response to it, and I think this product well deserves it. But I must tell you it’s not a unitasker – you can drinki all kinds of different beverages out of it, so I suppose it means you can get rid of all your unitasking wine glasses, juice glasses, coffee mugs, beer steins, etc. Sounds like an unclutterer to me.
