I've been really inspired by the blogs about clutter that I read (I include unclutterer on this list) and know that many are coming from folks on this forum. If you haven't already/recently talked about them -- will you share your blogs here? I really can't say enough about how your inspiration has changed my thinking about clutter.

I just started my own -- http://letgoandgoon.blogspot.com/ -- and am going to try and keep it really picture-based since that's always my favorite part of the blogs -- such a tangible source of inspiration.

If you don't blog yet, I encourage you to do so! We can keep each other accountable!! And you don't need money (many free blog sites) or technical know-how (just type and hit "post"!) to make it happen.

Some of us don't mind having a few things out here and there. As long as we can tidy up easily, it's not a big deal.

Citygirl, I had a blog called The Scuzz Bucket. It was where I complained about the problems in the US. I put it on hold for awhile, but I might resurrect it, because it helps me to vent.

However, as far as writing about uncluttering...I'm not doing well enough to share much on that. LOL!

Claycat -- Scuzz Bucket! Awesome :) You should pick it up again! Sounds great.

And as far as the "doing well enough" part -- me either. But I'm hoping that putting this stuff online will mean that someone else will KNOW when I'm getting behind! :)

I blog regularly as the Springy Goddess, and decluttering is a fairly regular feature.

If you search for labels like "organizing" or "dump run" or "housecleaning" or "Lakshmi Project" (my umbrella term for making the environment nicer to live in) you'll find yourself reading posts like "I Can See My Desk From Here!" or "Xtreme Springy Cleaning." :-D

citygirl: I love your captions, too. Does the cat ever knock over your drink? I hope not.

astreja: I can see my desk, and some dust, too! Looks like I need Xtreme Spring Cleaning before April 24 (Easter Sunday, when we expect the extended family to visit for the day).

Sunshine -- luckily, the cup is heavy and she doesn't knock it over -- but empty soda cans....that's a different story :)

Claycat -- thanks! I am posting something new today. It's a snow day here so I have no excuse but to do some uncluttering!

bandicoot (patti) -- love your blog!!! I just read the post about the smell of a cat when it comes in from inside (the inspiration for "Winter Kitty" fragrance) -- I LOVE that smell! I thought I was the only one who thought about it. I am not alone!!

Thanks, Sky! I just wrote about minimalism this morning (you are psychic!) -- even though I don't aspire to be that clutter free, the path they follow is very inspiring for me and helps me think more about the decisions I make. I will definitely check that out! Thanks!

I have tried blogging (and am still doing my best!) for my uncluttering project.

The problem I have is if I am doing a part I am truly dreading (eg, sorting out my paperwork) then I put it off because I know a fair few decluttering veterans may visit the blog and will not like the way I am trying to do it...
So as a result I put off that job and move onto something else more smaller and manageable but maybe not worth a blog post (for example, I came across a carrier bag full of old vhs tapes I decide to get rid of, not really worth a blog post just for a bog of videos) so as a result I dont upgrade for 4+ days at a time sometimes...

There is mine, the first post I made a video post! =D will do another video post when I have finished my false wall build!

Looking forward to seeing more of your blog, you seem a natural at the writing of it. I seem to waffle on! (as you can tell!)
