bandicoot, if I ever find myself in Australia, I'd "happen" to be in your neighborhood just so I could stop by and see you. I love the business you have and think the way you live is very inspiring.

FSA, i had to google GIS.
it sounds like a fascinating field that could lead in any number of interesting directions for you.
and i agree...travel is an expensive habit and we do have it bad around here.
i do have a successful company...it is small but perfect. i love it and it doesn't own me.tmichelle, we LOVE having visitors....please call in any time!
we'll eat and drink and laugh, and at some point, you'll have to cut millions of bars of soap, lol.

@bandicoot - I made most of my cluttering mistakes in my early twenties (20 - 25). When I turned 26 I realized that I wanted to make a big life change. I am 28 now and am so glad that I discovered this way of life now and only wish I had realized it sooner!

@bandicoot - I'm 24 and started decluttering a year ago (it's been a SLOW process!) because my large, 3 bedroom flat was becoming stuffed full of things. And there's only 2 of us. I had SO many clothes and SO much random crap that I knew it was a slippery slope to complete chaos!
Anyhoo, back to 'Ev'- What a twit. (I wasn't even that annoying when I was 17 and I can't stress enough how much of a prat I was....) I love that he removed his minimalism book from 'print' (oh honey, it's not out of print if it was never actually *printed* in the first place) How old is this guy anyway? He claims to have graduated NYU in 2003. Making him 9 when he started? Maybe NYU did a summer class for tweens or something.
