Tomorrow, a huge country auction is taking place the next town over from me. I have taken this opportunity to sell a few more of my antiques and gain some valuable floor space in the living room of the little house.
One item is an approximately 175 year old English Windsor arm chair I purchased back in the 80's when we lived in a much larger home. I have enjoyed owning it but it is too large for this space and time for him to find a new home.
Over the years, this chair has sat in different rooms in different houses and I have two different sets of seat cushions for it.
One set is taking up half a shelf in my linen closet and will be donated to the Goodwill on my next visit.
Domino Effect & win-win...I get more room in the living room and more room in the linen closet and someone else will soon find a nice seat cushion for sale at their favorite thrift store.
Icing on the cake would be for me to get a good price on the chair! Wish me luck!
