Hello Declutterers.
This weekend I stopped caring about decluttering or much else, and then I remembered that I had to pack for a couple of days away. Suddenly having a properly thorough chucking-out session seemed like the best fun.
Realising that I finished studying one year ago tomorrow gave me extra motivation to mentally move on and consiously create space for whatever comes next. I've gone about it in a way that isn't normally recommended - the opposite of little steps!
During a tea break I caught up with Erin's posts, including the one about her personal motivation for keeping the stuff under control (July 28). This reminded me that above all else this process is NOT about stuff, it's about people.
I finally feel like I'm winning the ongoing battle with having too much stuff in my bedroom / workroom, and perhaps thats a sign that I've turned a corner elsewhere in life?
Thank you for reading!
