I have a pretty canvas covered container I had my grandkids books stored in. I moved the books to a built in storage area under the tv, and put the book box under a side table to get it out of the way to vacuum. I forgot about it and came back to get it later, and.... You guessed it, the cat has taken it as her new bed. She's been using it for 3 days now, I can't bear to take it away from her!

When I went through photos of our pets after our dog died, I noticed that almost all of the photos we had of one of our cats was her in some sort of container; baskets, boxes, paper bags, 12-pack soda cartons. Shoe boxes were a favorite regardless of how small it was. If there wasn't a container around for her to be in, she'd put her paws into a shoe or slipper. It was funny to see all those photos together of her in containers.
