Hi everyone. I am new member for this forum. I want to arrange my room in good look…so I confuse how to do that...I hope I can find some answers form here…mainly I want to paint my room with some design style. And also I need some help to keep right position ideas for these things; dress cupboard, writing table, one single bed, wall book rack & one small sofa

Wow, what a nice blank canvas. In the rare times I get this opportunity to rearranghe a whole room, I make a scale floor plan using graph or square paper, and make small rectangles etc representing the furniture too. Then I mark on windows and doors (you may need to account for the height of something that would fit under the window). Then ypo get to move the paper furniture aroud and see what you like. You need to think about:

1. What pieces of furniture go together - e.g. you may need your bookcase next to your desk, or your desk may need to be next to power socket.
2. What items do you ned to store - will you need to try and save room for taller book cases, or more closet space. is there a large wall space you can use for your painted design.
3. What will you mainly use your room for - e.g. if you have a social area in another room, do you need space for a sofa?

I like the beautiful crown molding at the top.

Be sure to have a good flow through your room. Arrange your furniture so everything is easy to get to. You don't want obstacles blocking your way anywhere. Use some nice art work or photos on your walls but not too much.

i do the same as badkitti....make a plan on paper and then make little bits of paper furniture and move them around endlessly.

that is lovely moulding on the ceiling, and you have a nice high ceiling.
good bones!

my personal taste runs to stark white rough-plastered walls with plenty of madly coloured intricate textiles hanging all over the place.
you may be happier with coloured paint and less stuff. or even a feature wall with beautiful wallpaper.

there are lots of websites that suggest colour palettes for various rooms....you might take a look there to narrow down what sort of "feel" you would like your room to have.
