Inspired by today's "one year ago" post on laundry decluttering (http://unclutterer.com/2008/12/23/2008-new-years-resolution-wrap-up/), here are some resources and a few questions:
Suggestions on how to separate loads: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/08/garden/08fix.html

For those of us with tiny closets for laundry "rooms" has anyone found a good solution for sorting clothes and storing cleaners, irons etc? We're looking for something that can permanently stay in place, but that holds just one load, unlike those big "laundry centers" you see in the stores. I saw these, but can't find any further information on how sturdy they are and how much they hold: http://www.makariosrv.com/products/Laundry-Staytion-Hamper-by-Thetford.html
Has anyone had success in teaching spouses/children how to sort? i.e. what clothes should go in the dryer vs. hung to dry? Yes, I tried the "read the tag" route and came home to set in stains and shrunken delicates.
Thanks for the thoughts!
