This may be a regional issue but I have a consistent problem with how to store my extensive collection of koozies (those foam things you put cans/ bottles in to keep them cold). I have a couple of the standup style but most fold flat. I prefer to have them handy and viewable for selection but out of the way. Any suggestions?

Mine are in a cooler bag in the pantry. I just grab any one when needed so don't worry so much about selection. Sorry I can't be more help!

I have several stashed in my cooler, glove compartment and usually my purse (I hate warm beverages!). It's the ones at the house I'm not sure what to do.

Consider:
1) Is this a "collection" for you?
or
2) Is this something you keep for "functional" use?If you really keep these just for their function -- to use them -- as opposed to a collection, then reevaluate how many of them you need. How many do you use at once? Do you really NEED to have so many that storing them is a problem? Or, can you just keep a few of your favorites? Reducing the number to your favorite few would probably eliminate the storage problem.
If this is a collection then this is a different issue. First you need to evaluate if you really want to spend this much life energy on a collection of koozies. Do they REALLY mean that much to you? Are these vacation souvenirs? Even if they are, do you still care about having all these koozies? Or, would you be happier culling your collection down to your favorite dozen?
If these are a collection do you want them displayed where you see them? Could you do some sort of decorative board (perhaps padded with cloth, if desired) and attach clothespins? Use plastic clothespins if you want to. Then, clip each koozy onto the board with a clothespin. Or, use very thin board and mount this inside a cupboard or pantry door. The koozies will be on display and easily seen, but not in plain sight for everyone who walks into the room.
You might also be able to use one of those ribbon wrapped bulletin boards if you only use a few of them. These can be purchased or made at home for just a few dollars. Tuck the koozies under the ribbons.

Great point. Definitely a collection, although they have been pared down significantly to only include those with meaning. I have about 20 or so, including the stashed ones. Time for another review!
The difficulty lies in the fact that it is collection which gets used quite frequently. Therefore, paring down to my favorites leaves me open to damage or loss of the ones I like the best.
These are lovely ideas for storage. My kitchen (and overall condo) is super tiny, but I think I could swing a ribbon-wrapped bulletin board attached under the upper cabinets. These cabinets are over the bar between the kitchen and the living room. Thanks so much!
