I'd been working on a life list, though there isn't much on it at the moment as I've been questioning a lot of my goals and ideals.
So looking for minimalist reading and stuff I came across minimalist knitter and this post about killing your life list
http://robyndevine.blogspot.com/2010/08/killing-your-life-list-how-to-be.html
which links to Tim Ferris' article on the Superstar Effect

I think we've talked about focus quite a lot, and I'm reminded here too of Leo Babuta's Zen to Done and the Three Big Things; but even while we 'do' other stuff day to day, and still have other hobbies, I think there's something to be said for focussing on one thing as The Big Thing - and also, thinking a bit bigger.
I think I need to mull this over a bit, but anyway, I thought you might enjoy the links. Minimalist Knitter has some good stuff.
Oh and here's a funny anecdote from Miss Minimalist. It struck a chord because I recently spent $500 on locks for my house. Mainly so I feel safe when DH is away, but I worry about our computers being stolen. pointless, really - we've had a house burgled before by window breaking.

as you can see I'm procrastinating and casting around for reading material!
