Some good news:
I already freecycled 13 out of 31 things I posted on Saturday!
I went to my mom's yesterday to help her around the house & convinced her to get rid of 15 pairs of pants that are 2 sizes too large. (Thy're in a box in my car to give to charity, not even coming into my house!)
We tried on all the kids summer clothes & have a large bag for the children's charity to be delivered on Wednesday.
Mom gave me a nice carry-on suitcase, and I used the One-in One-out Rule, and freecycled an unused roller backpack that I have had since 1994.
I actually threw away one or two things that "could have been useful to someone somewhere" (see- that's actually hoarder mentality- we are all not that far away from that disorder...) This was a new one for me.
And, most important, I have renewed enthusiasm towards my goal of minimalizing my stuff.
Thanks for your encouragmant.
