You don't have to do much work cleaning the shower if you use a squeegee on the shower walls after each shower. The squeegee removes extra water (so no mineral buildup) and also those pesky bits of dirt and skin flakes that make the walls grungy. Still have to scrub the walls occasionally, but they stay nice much longer.
