I keep several household binder notebooks; one contains manuals, warranties, etc., another contains information on a rental house I own, others contain various essential information. Since these notebooks live on a bookshelf in my home office, I'd like to unify the look somewhat - right now I have an assortment of utilitarian plastic binders from the office supply store - different colors, sizes, etc. I'm having trouble finding a source for really great looking binders. For me the aesthetics of an organizing system are as important as its usefulness; it keeps me motivated. Anyone have a good source for great looking 3 ring binders?

I'm in Australia and got mine from Officeworks. I got a nice shade of green, and one with a sort of plant design in a matching green, looked really good. I've gone back to using drop files now though.
Aesthetics are important.

Thank you!!! Love the Zazzle idea, and the binders from Pulp Products are also very appealing. I should have thought to check your site, Jeri! Thanks so much for the great suggestions, everyone - I'm going to enjoy updating my binders.

I got some nice looking binders made from recycled materials at Wal-Mart in late September, I think they were $1-3 each. Regular 1" that I use for recipes and other projects. One of my favorites came from Staples, it was at most $4 and a very interesting pattern, I bought a matching notebook and folder.
If I had a bunch of binders that I already owned and wanted to match I'd probably experiment with contact paper to cover them.

Office Max has some really pretty ones in their Divoga line now. They're not the best quality, but they look nice, and if you don't have to access them every day, they might be fine.
You can also buy the plain ones with the clear vinyl pockets on the outside and cut scrapbooking or wrapping paper to fit. I've found all kinds of lovely papers in the bargain bins at the local Archivers store for 25 cents to a dollar a piece.

I get my binders, the ones I keep permanent information in, from Bindertek.
They are a little pricey but they hold up wonderfully and have lots of colors!
