Unclutterer friends,
I'm so proud of myself and wanted to share with people who would understand and appreciate it. I had two bridesmaid dresses that had been sitting in my closet - one from 2002 and another from 2003 - that I finally took to Goodwill today. I knew when I wore them that I would never wear them again, but somehow I managed to allow them to take up space in my closet for 7 and 8 years. I guess it was a mix of guilt and that old culprit Justin Case.
At any rate, I'm so proud of myself for finally letting them go and making the time to get them out of the house ... and perhaps someone who really needs them will get to use them now, for a prom or other special occasion.
I think those of us who are struggling to live an uncluttered life need to remember to pat ourselves on the back for these small victories. :)
