We went camping, just the two, for Thanksgiving. It was a lovely, remote park in Southern Arizona, with only a few other campers around and very dark, starry skies.
Thanksgiving dinner was a turkey breast out of the smoker that DH tended all day. The rest: candied sweet potatoes, stove top stuffing, gravy, green beans with almonds, all cooked on the 2-burner stove in various configurations of the 2 pots I brought and some foil. That, with rolls heated in foil over the campfire and canned cranberry gel, and we ate well! Tried a Dutch oven dessert that is now a science project about the element Carbon, but was good for a big laugh after dinner.
