I've had the most frustrating time trying to get the bookmarks on the diff browsers we use on our computer to be alphabetized and stay that way. Finally just typed the question into Google and found an answer that didn't require me having to do it manually. I had done it several times before thru the bookmarks menu- but after the browser was closed it would revert back to unsorted.
Bookdog- name of app that did it in a flash. It makes me SOOO happy, everything looks neat and orderly. Silly what makes us happy, eh?

I love alphabetizing things! Whenever I go through my book shelves and reorganize them alphabetically by author it just makes me calm and happy. Same when I have colored things and organize them by color or sort art supplies by type. It just makes me so happy.

Alphabetical order is definitely one of my favorite things. When I was still working in a lab I had all of my reagents and indicators organized alphabetically. My co-workers mocked me occasionally, but I could find anything in a second flat.

I might be misunderstanding your dilemma but if I right click on a bookmark (favorite) one of the choices is to sort and that alphabetizes my bookmarks instantly.

Klyla- yes, been there, done that-but upon opening the browser again, the bookmarks revert back to unsorted, every time. (preference glitch, computer skills, whatever) After using Bookdog, they stay sorted, every time.
My actual point of posting this was that the simple act of alphabetizing makes me happy! :) As it turns out, I'm not the only one!Posted 1 year ago #
