Workspace of the Week: White workspace and gaming area

This week’s Workspace of the Week is Arunan Sritharan’s desk:

Sometimes all-white workspaces we have can seem cold and sterile. The consistent use of a strong accent color in this office adds some much needed warmth to the mix.

Thank you, Arunan, for submitting your office to our workspace Flickr pool.

Want to have your own workspace featured in Workspace of the Week? Submit a picture to the Unclutterer flickr pool. Check it out because we have a nice little community brewing there. Also, don’t forget that workspaces aren’t just desks. If you’re a cook, it’s a kitchen; if you’re a carpenter, it’s your workbench.

Ahhh! Since green has always been my favorite color (money and eco-friendly aside), I love this space! The rug under the desk is gorgeous! As an artist I wouldn’t be able to keep a space like this looking like this for very long before it was covered with papers, fotos, collage and sewing scraps, etc. But wow, it would be sweet to have my space look this nice for even an hour! I also really like the little shelf set off center above the desk. In my house it would end up loaded down with books, but that’s because I still strive to be this organized! LOL! Thanks for sharing this!

What a beautiful clean space and love the pops of green. I can imagine a personal name logo perfectly on the wall, too!

Dang! This space is fresh! It’s very Apple. I love the Logitech Z4 speakers. I have a pair of them myself. I do like the green too. It’s one of my favorite colors. I personally wouldn’t go for the shag, but everything else looks great.

@Unclutterer I think it would be fun to revisit past workspaces of the week a while later. Did they remain uncluttered? Did the color scheme satisfy or get changed? Did books once again pile up? (or, in my case, pristine unread copies of Clean Run, never enough time)

    Just a thought

I love the chair, but would have to get a different color, I couldn’t see it staying crisp white
