I find this a bit clunky and - as Susan notes - rather short for the purpose! The footprint is not particularly small and the style is pretty self-defining. Repurposing furniture would be more up my alley. Just as an example, an old dresser (or even a nightstand) from a thrift shop would typically be less than 27.5 inches deep and would have a wide surface for mail/key/misc baskets; attach a solid piece of plywood upright to one side and screw in coat hooks on the "outside" and a pegboard on the "inside;" mount a mirror on the wall behind it ... ?
