Chicago book signing and meet and greet
After lots of amazing planning work on the part of my stellar publicist and sales team at Simon and Schuster, my book tour is becoming a reality. The final details on the later stops (LA, NY, KC, DC) are still being ironed out, but I can go ahead and announce the first event since it is confirmed and ready to go:
Chicago
December 28, 2009. 4-7 p.m. The Book Cellar. 4736-38 N. Lincoln Ave.
Technically, this is the first stop on my Unclutter Your Life in One Week book tour. However, I’m thinking about it as a book signing and an Unclutterer meet and greet. Unclutterer team members PJ, Brian, Gary, and I will all be able to make it to this event. You can hang out with us and other Unclutterer readers, grab a drink, have your book signed (if you’re into such things), and enjoy a post-holiday happy hour in Lincoln Square.
Don’t feel that you need to be at the event right at 4:00. I’m not giving a formal presentation of any kind — just getting to know our delightful Unclutterer readers. If you’re in the area, we would love for you to come by and say, “hi!”

What are the other stops on your tour?

A book tour. Now that’s fantastic news. Only an hour from my house.
Depending on weather, I just may be there to say HI.
I don’t like driving in the city in the winter, between the snow piles along the roads and the lack of decent parking….oh, I am such a suburban gal, it’s pathetic!!

Oh my goodness! Fabulous news! My new goal is to have everything completely uncluttered by then, so I have a great story to tell at the meet-and-greet.

@Rebecca — Hey! NY, LA, DC, and KC are the only stops currently on the calendar. May add Austin and Columbus later in the spring.

When is KC?

Tampa is always nice during the winter months.

To hell with Columbus, come to Cleveland! We’re more fun. Or, if you must go there, swing up this way on your way back to DC (just a little out of the way) and I can show you the uncluttering challenge of a lifetime.

Erin, great pick for the book signing site! I lived in Lincoln Square and miss that neighborhood dearly. I also love The Book Cellar, can’t wait to see you guys there!

Hi Erin! When and where in DC?

Thump, thump, thump goes my head against the wall.
I fly OUT of Chicago on the morning 28th, back to Toronto.
No book signings for me.
(Have you considered signing book plates for your fans outside of the US?)
