But I must say I was pleasantly surprised just then when I finally got around to checking my Flickr referrals! @David Turnbull - sadly it does look like a pigsty when I have gadgets and stuff all over when I am tinkering or studying! Get that mouse and keyboard on an adjustable pull-out platform, like one from Humanscale. It'll save your back, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, etc. in the long run! I'm really kind of a slob. It is the Walmart shelving, and I, too have had no problems with durability. It was on sale for like $89 a set when I got it. Living in a pretty small apartment, one thing I use it for is a sort of equipment station on casters that I can move around as needed. An old closet door became a flip-out workbench.
