Already pre-ordered the Snow Leopard, iWork 09′ and iLife 09′ bundle family pack. Just put new 500Gb HD in 2007 MBP and upgraded to 4GB of RAM so I am flying with Leopard, and will be VERY happy with Snow

Exactly. I was about to point that. There is almost no extra free space if you compare Leopard and Snow Leopard when you’re using only Intel binaries. I did this comparison of them if anyone is interested: http://twitpic.com/a41t9

Not sure how they’re going to integrate Expose into the Dock, but I sure can’t wait to find out. Expose is one of my favorite OS X features. I always have too many windows, but Expose makes it easy to find what I want. I know, I know, don’t have to much stuff open. But since I can’t help it, i’ll look forward to an even better Expose

@infmom – besides being slow, your PowerBook wouldn’t run Snow Leopard because Snow Leopard only supports Intel processors. That’s where the 6GB of free space listed in #1 comes from, they’ve gotten rid of all the PowerPC binaries.

I’ll definitely be buying Snow Leopard when it comes out. It’s very smart of Apple to trim down an already great OS to make it run leaner. This is quite the opposite to Microsoft continuously adding bloat and calling it ‘features.’

I’m still waiting for the price to be released down under. It’s rarely a direct conversion, although I still expect it’ll cost under $50, and that’s fine by me.

I would be looking forward to it if my Mac were not a circa-2002 Powerbook G4 that doesn’t have enough processing power to run anything past Tiger.

There is also a relatively minimal upgrade cost ($9.95 plus tax) if you purchased your computer after June 8. I’m fortunate to have bought a new MacBook Pro at the beginning of July. I’m saving money! ($29-$20+$1,200=profit?)

Felt I should clarify #2: The Exchange support only works with Exchange 2007. So until your company upgrades, you’ll still need Entourage.
