Workspace of the Week: Pristine pictures
This week’s Workspace of the Week is Anthony Grimes’ photo studio:
From the flame encrusted mini-fridge where I assume he stores film and snacks to the completely clutter-free desk, I am quite fond of this week’s selection for Workspace of the Week. Notice the reading storage, the elevated monitor stand, and the simple coat and umbrella hooks on the wall. There is a place for everything in this photographer’s office, and everything is in its place. Also, don’t miss his second picture in the set that shows the other side of the room. I especially like the charging station on top of the dresser. Thank you, Anthony, for submitting your office to our flickr pool.
Want to have your own workspace featured in Workspace of the Week? Submit a picture to the Unclutterer flickr pool. Check it out because we have a nice little community brewing there. Also, don’t forget that workspaces aren’t just desks. If you’re a cook, it’s a kitchen; if you’re a carpenter, it’s your workbench.

I like this, especially the stand for the monitors. I’m currently experimenting with books underneath my monitor which isn’t great but I am trying to sort out the best height before I either buy or build a monitor raiser.
Although it looks pristine it definitely looks very functional with all the important equipment within easy reach.

Love it. It’s simple and functional but still has just enough flair.

This is really nice — neat and functional without being sterile. And I’m drooling over that flat file storage under the fish tank. NEED!

Love it–a workspace that is neat,”cozy” and project friendly!
I know one has to work within the constraints of room dimensions, but I am a huge fan of daylight–so I would arrange furniture to not block a window. Now, if there is an objectionable view…….that’s another matter.

Avid aquarists want to know what’s in the tank. (Or will be, since you said it’s new.)

Can we get detailed info on that Ikea flat file cabinet? Is it still available? Can’t find it on Ikea’s website.

Thanks for featuring my workspace, it is very flattering and I am glad that you all are enjoying it.
The Ikea flat file cabinet can be found here:

If there are any other questions feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer. Thanks again!

great space!
I also have to file/store photographs, etc. I am SO getting that file cabinet. Most metal flat cabinets I’ve seen are outside of my price range. That IKEA one looks right on time (after I paint it a better color, but yanno
)

Excellent workspace! Can you give details about your wraparound desk and where you got it? Is it also Ikea?
