I have had the towel bar on my bathroom door for at least 15 years. It is the best invention. I recommend it to everyone. I will be buying one for my sons Dorm Room this year.

I've had the large hook for years; it's perfect for the bedroom for robes. Now I'm lusting after a new door organizer that was highlighted in our local paper- http://www.thedoororganizer.com/Products.html .

This suggestion couldn't have come at a better time. I will be a home owner in two days and was trying to figure out the "landing pad" for my new home. These hooks give me a place to put my purse

I wish these things had been around when I was in my first apartment 20 years ago! The bathroom was only slightly larger than the average Port-a-John, the walls were really old and fragile plaster, and there was no place to hang a towel except over the top of the shower curtain rod.

For towels in the bathroom, definitely go with the towel bar pictured here - if you use a hook there, it gets all bunched up and they never get dry!

This would also be great for the office. In my case this is a classroom. I need a place near the door to hang my school keys.

The towel bars rock. My master bathroom doesn't have a lot of wall space for a traditional towel bar so we found this type of towel bar and it works wonderful. I'd love to try the other hinge hooks described in this post - 'door storage' is one of my favorites!

The space behind doors is one of my favorite spots for storage, since most doors around my home stay open. I store posters in tubes standing in a row behind one door, a stepladder behind another.

Think of all the door storage choices there are: folding ironing boards, exercise paraphanalia that fits into the hinge spaces, shoe holders, hat racks. I have been searching for a very narrow bookcase to hold paperbacks or CD's for this location.

The towel bars in the picture look practical, but I can't help wondering how a bathrobe or purse on one of the other hooks will allow the door to stay open without getting caught in the space or cause the door to bounce closed again.
