the point of the comments saying this isn’t a real workspace echoed my thoughts exactly. This isn’t to insult anyone, but I myself am looking for a solution for and office / living room where I can hideaway the ‘work’ aspect of my life at the end of the work day. I’m a webdesigner and use two large monitors and I have a large printer. Help!

Just a note … the move toward home-office-in-a-box type armoires, etc, started a long time ago and there is a simply HUGE variety available, ranging from $250 items at Staples to the $3000 tansu-style armoire from Gumps. If this is too small for you, SHOP. And while you’re at it, shop for a multifunction machine so you don’t need a separate printer, scanner, & fax.

I would venture to guess that this is a perfectly serviceable office for anyone capable of setting up a home wireless connection. I’ll bet the printer, router, etc are all hidden neatly away in another room … they don’t have to be in the same physical space as the computer itself, for most people.

Final note … for those who complained this isn’t a “real” office … just because it wouldn’t work for you doesn’t mean it wouldn’t work at all.

I absolutely agree with Richard,this is not a real “office”…please post ones that can help those of us who have the modem, printer, scanner, fax machine etc.etc. I was disappointed because the only room I have to use is my livingroom. How about a solution a regular person could use?

Where’s the printer? Where’s the modem? So it’s neat, that’s good. But this looks like just a spot to do some laptop work late on Sunday before returning to work Monday morning.

It seems more a temporary, teeny, tiny work station that a “living room office.” Come on guys, give us the real stuff. People who really work at home, who struggle to hide wires, slay stacks of paper, and make 100 calls a day.

This office is like Prozac … calm and tucked in a corner. Where are the red meat, “got to get done by Wednesday” folks who eschew esthetics till the job is done? I want to see a “work” office, not an office “post card.”

That is really neat! It kind of reminds me of the laptop cabinets that Ikea has now. But this definitely looks better in a living area than an Ikea one would!
