It'sa little pricey, but I use a Bosca front pocket wallet (I do carry it in my back pocket, though.)

http://www.boscaonline.com/mens-wallets-deluxe-front-pocket.html

It's thin; it keeps everything (cash and 6 cards) right where I need it and it totally discourages clutter. I realize it's pricey if you buy the "old leather" style, but I gave up my fat old wallet 2 years ago in favor of this little beauty and never looked back. The Flipside looks like something I'd use for a month and then toss in a drawer. No offense- have agreed with almost every other post you've put up here. One of my favorite sites.

[...] The biggest catch: a Flipside Wallet will set you back a whopping $45—which seems like a lot for what you're getting. The Flipside is also a little thicker than we'd like (4 1/4" x 2 3/4" x 11/16"), especially since we're so keen on slimmed down wallets. If the price and size is a little too much for you but you'd like a hard-case wallet, check out the previously mentioned Jimi wallet, which retails for a slim $15.
I bought a credit card case from a gal on Etsy. Cost: $7.50. Plus, my money went to a person instead of a corporation. :)

Koyono View Slimmy FTW! 3 compartments, plus a clear one for your ID. Big enough to carry what you need but small enough to prevent you from collecting clutter.

I don't understand the need for the RFID protection, as it's convenient to slide your wallet over the sensor at the subway. People are just too paranoid about ID theft these days...

I got a <a href="http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/pk9df5j0/J-Crew-Patent-Leather-Magic-Wallet" rel="nofollow">Magic Wallet</a> a few years ago and am totaly happy with it.

It can hold up to 4 Card (I dont need more), cash and business cards (outside and inside, I prefer inside). You can access every card directly without getting through 3 others. That convinced me.

Coins I keep in my front pocket (which is clutter free and just has the Magic Wallet;-) When I take them out at home I save it and bring it to the bank. You don't want to know how much money you can save this way.

The flipsite wallet looks kinda thick and not userfriendly.

The Deep Pocket looks interesting, too. But can't hold as much as the Magic Wallet. If I wont have the Magic Wallet I would also give the DOPP Front Pocket Getaway wallet a try.

I'll have to agree that while it's very cool, it's also FORTY FIVE DOLLARS !!! I mean, jeez. The other thing about protecting your cards from RFID: I wonder if the other compartment is unprotected, because when I'm in Tokyo or London, I never bother to take my RFID-using transit cards out of my wallet and I just swipe my wallet over the entry gate's sensor. It would be a real bummer if the wallet made that impossible to do...

You can sure cut down on that plastic (credit card) bulk by eliminating those shopper cards. When I found out that the checker just needs to input your phone # to complete the transaction, I eliminated a few of those cards from my wallet.

Regarding above idea, I print out the bar codes using Word for the places that don't accept my phone number right onto my paper wallet before folding.

Doesn't get any more space-saving than that.

I'm new to this site, but I love organizing and have a suggestion to manage membership/grocery cards: punch holes in the corner of your cards avoiding magnetic strips and bar codes and attach to a small jump ring. I keep my important plastic in a wallet and my miscellaneous plastic on this key ring. All the store clerks who check me out think it's neat and a great idea...if only I could patent and sell it. Oh well. Hope this helps.
