The ipod dock doesn't seem to work great with our touch, but we use that so infrequently that it is fine. The only other issue is that if you play pandora on it, and turn off the TV, it turns off the player. But if you turn on the player first, and remember the buttons to push on the remote, it will play without the TV on. The remote totally sucks. But otherwise we are very happy with it.
