    Hmm… interesting – would be nice knowing approximate loading times before and after.

    Though I should note: if you, like me, are a web standards zealot, some of the output code does not validate. Notably, the embed tag for Flash – wrong, bad, use object!!! :)

    It does not screw up img tags, it just adds a trailing slash, which is optional in HTML 5 and required in XHTML.

    This might not be exactly related, but I’ve found tinyurl.com (on the time magazines 50 websites of the year) very useful when sending links through email. Basically one just copy & pastes the extremely long url on hand, goes to the website, plugs it in and it spits out a much shorter url. And so far it’s always worked for me. Amazing!

    People try to send me comments with images but the images will not show on my computer. They tell me at my space my HTML is turned off. What can I do?
