Desk by Jarl Fernaeus
Here is an interesting prototype desk that was entered into the European design competition Prix Emile Hermés. The desk designed by Swedish designer Jarl Fernaeus includes an integrated lamp, charging station, and storage compartments.
The stool/desk combo features some very useful compartments that can cut down on wire clutter and it also has some great solutions for storage. Storage areas are tucked away in a sleek desk drawer and in the stool.
For final specs on the prototype see the Jarl Fernaeus website.

I’m just trying to get my office organized and saw a similar desk like that at IKEA. I’m switching everything over to my lap top and would like it to have it in the main room so i can work while my kids play.
I love how the seat fits under it so nicely. Hum…I need to make up my mind and buy a small desk soon. Thanks for the tip.

That’s cute, but does anyone really want to sit on that bench?

Do you get a free coupon for orthopedic and chiropractic services with that disk-wracking excuse for a desk chair?

That desk vaguely reminds me of a vintage 1982 school desk in the Deep South.
What is old is new again.
The chair leaves much to be desired.
I’ll pass on this one.

LOL, you all right… I just realised that.
Working desk with backless stool is a disaster
