P.S. The desks were manufactured by Maco Furniture, which apparently was closed down and reopened as Maco Lifestyles. http://www.macolifestyles.com/Site/Welcome.html I don’t see the desks on their new website, but we have a bookcase and a dresser in our nursery (stained alder) and we are very happy with them.

Woohoo! I’m famous.

The desks were actually unfinished furniture that we painted white. They were about half the price of similar desks from pottery barn. We needed some extra space so we got a piece of plywood cut at Lowe’s and some brackets to go between the two desks.

I’m glad to see a more traditional desk here . . . I find I still have a fair amount of paper to deal with and wonder how those super-minimalist offices manage paper.

This makes me think I may need a different desk rather than trying to adapt the one I have (no storage at all).

The Ikea Galant system is extremely flexible and can be configured for two very easily. My husband and I have two of their corner units set up in the office space and attached enough of the extensions and shelving units to maximize the surfaces available.

Under the desks we put four rolling file cabinets from Ikea. A couple of the Billy bookshelves in what was left and we have a very functional office.

Have been looking for two person desk for ages- can you share your source? Looked in the IKEA catalog and could not find anything similar…
