This is perfect! All the desk- and computer- cluttering of an unnecessary USB device combined with the maddening annoyance and lack of actual security I find in car alarms, wrapped up in a “there’s no way to take this worker seriously” package!

actually, this might be a great way to keep my cat away from my keyboard. i know this sounds stupid, but my cat’s greatest pleasure in life is to lay on my laptop or desktop keyboard. i’m a doctoral student, so this causes me much heartache. hmmm…
