Uncluttered search results with Google SearchWiki

In November, Google introduced its SearchWiki to public use. Now, you can customize your search results by “re-ranking, deleting, adding, and commenting” items in your returned list.

Here’s how it works:

The application makes repeated searches more efficient and gives you the power to clear the cluttered, unwanted results from your searches.

    Pretty cool! I must have missed the launch of the search wiki though – how long have they been doing it? I think Google needs to advertise it more so that users know it’s an option.

    I was wondering what those two new barely-there buttons were next to the search results. I was tempted to click them…but didn’t because I didn’t know what they would do.
