I run my wires along the baseboards, crown mouldings, and door casings. I don’t think they stick out that much, but then I’m Ham Radio Geek and think wire looks normal…

And they sound icky. If you enjoy really good sound that is. For boom-box or background quality sound they are great. I really did not like what those wireless units do to the sound quality.

Good for adding speakers to a room until you can hire an integrator to pull some wires and add ceiling speakers for you.

Why not just get an Airport Express?
I use one in my house and it works great! Plus it can extend your internet and enable you to set up wireless printing.

AND, they also extend 150 feet versus the 70 feet of the set mentioned. I can’t vouch for the quality, but if you’re looking for wireless speakers, there definitely are cheaper options.
