I’m really really really sad that Clean Sweep is off the air. That was a fantastic show that approached clutter from a psychological standpoint.

I hate Neecy Nash’s yelling and her team’s teasing, pushing, and prodding… Clean House isn’t nearly as good as Clean Sweep was.

But then, we don’t have cable, so I guess it doesn’t really matter much in my house anyway.

I am annoyed because the Style Network has been showing a few clutterbug episodes but my cable provider does not carry the Style Network.

I love How Clean is your House. Those two ladies are funny odd birds.

I am very excited about the new show. I have a little “insider” information about how the show was put together, how they lay the groundwork to get the clients up and moving, and how the magazine concept is incorporated into the show. I can totally see why TLC put the show on at primetime, it’s going to smart and stylish and appeal to a large demographic, including me, a guy. We’re hungry for a quality makeover show. I am sure we’ll be seeing their mavens everywhere, for good reason!

Can’t wait!

I love “How Clean is your House?” Oh my gosh, the eloquent fits those two ladies throw.

I couldn’t picture Peter Walsh running a finger down a grimy countertop and shouting “EWWWWWWWW!”

Does anyone know how to get the guys to come to my house? I am currently at war with one husband-sized and two daughter-sized packracks who think uncluttering involves getting rid of everything they love.

@allen — I was a little surprised by the female focus, too. The first season is only 13 episodes, so maybe it will broaden in the second season (if it gets a second season).

I am a total Clean House addict. I love Neecy Nash – she has a way about her that both shames the clutterees enough to get them moving and then is extremely sensitive and insightful about what is causing the clutter to begin with. (Which really strikes home for me – my environment is a total reflection of my mental state)

She calls clutter “mayhem and foolishness” which have become my new buzzwords. The supporting cast is also fun and interesting to watch and the makeovers involve a lot of de-cluttering and organization tips as well as some really great decorating.

“Dirty Jobs” rocks, as does Mike Rowe–but I don’t think it fits into this mini-genre. (Great show, just not about cleaning and organizing.)
