Thanks for bringing this to our attention Matt. I've always had a challenge donating nicer clothing for men, when my clients don't want it going to a thrift shop. Many would rather know someone is benefiting from the clothes for free and using them vs. the clothes being shoved on a rack in a thrift shop catching dust.

@Carrie - men have been donating their dress clothes in the past to worthy organizations, careergear.org is in five cities. I think men donate less often because many buy classic suits that don't go out of style so men wear their work attire longer. We tend to mix it up with the shirt and tie.

That would be a good place to get rid of mistakes. It's easy to forget that fit and silhouette are more important than brand or material when choosing a suit.
To avoid future mistakes, I stopped buying off the rack suits and started buying made-to-measure. Not only is it easier to get what I want, but I can do so in my hard-to-find size (38S). If you're willing to travel to places like Hong Kong or Ho Chi Minh City, you can get a comparable made-to-measure or bespoke and a vacation for the same price as a single custom suit locally in the US or Canada.

I noticed this on TV. Women have been doing this for years. It's about time we got the boys involved.
