In the original post, someone mentioned a long-handled dustpan as a better alternative to the foot dustpan. I agree. You can usually find one at your local hardware store or here’s a link:

As for Steve Jobs uniform, I give him three cheers! He’s branded himself brilliantly and simplified his life. I usually keep 2 of these at a time in the house – one for the kitchen, the other for cleaning up after the cats (read:litter) and sweeping the patio.

I completely forgot about the Steve Jobs/minimalist wardrobe post. Incidentally, Michael Kors, the American designer, (any Project Runway fans out there?) wears only blue jeans, black turtleneck and jacket.
