Internet password organizer giveaway
If you’re someone who keeps your address book and calendar in handwritten form, then this Unclutterer giveaway might be for you!
Mark Barros at InnoventionLab has kindly given us two Internet Password Organizers to give away in a fun contest. The organizer has:
Alphabetically tabbed dividers allow you to jump directly to the section you are interested in for quick information retrieval. A heavy-duty hard cover solidly protects your pages from every-day wear-and-tear. Bonus sections allow you to store information about your Internet Service Provider, Home Network Configuration, Product Licenses, and other relevant notes that will help you bring your computer back on- line should the need arise.
To enter for a chance to win an Internet Password Organizer, simply leave a comment to this post indicating that you want to participate in the drawing. On Saturday, June 7, 2008, at 2:00 EST I will enter the number of comments into the Random Integer Generator at random.org and select two random winners.
Warning: If you leave a comment to this post that isn’t an entry, I will delete it. Nothing personal, I just don’t want to select a winner for the organizer who isn’t interested in participating in the giveaway.

If I had this organizer, I would actually use different passwords for different websites/accounts. (I know, I know, I should be doing that anyway, but if I fill my brain up with passwords, I might forget something important, like how to drive or my own phone number.) I find it interesting that this is a book that allows you to keep all that private computer stuff and yet has no unique lock (sort of like diaries but we all know that they have the same lock/key), just in case someone just “happens” to browse through it.

I use a notebook for this purpose currently. I was worried at first about keeping all of this info in a centralized location, but then I starting creating easy-for-me-to-decipher codes for my passwords. It almost always works!
