A really good solution/reason for keeping your waffle maker is to also unclutter the waffle batter mixing process (blegh, tongue twister). After recently visiting my sisters home, I was astonished to discover these bad boys. http://www.batterblaster.com/
It is organic pancake and waffle batter in a spray can! The great thing is that the plastic caps, tips, and steel can are all recyclable, as well! It cuts down the prep time and cleanup time immensely and I can vouch that the waffles we made tasted deliciousssss! USDA Organic approved! I think this is a great find!

It is possible that the Roomba is awesome. The Scooba, however, loses its awesomeness after 6 months. Both my original and its replacement did.

Hah, we actually use our waffle iron quite a bit. The husband likes to make waffles, and I do not argue with a man who makes me breakfast.

*sigh*
I love my waffle maker. We make waffles a lot. They become finger food for toddlers. (You can also give a teething baby a frozen waffle.)
My husband loves his ice cream maker. He loves to try new recipes (including avacado ice cream for the pediatrician who mentioned how much she missed the treat from her childhood in the Phillipines).
In any case, we use these items a lot. If you don't use them, get some friends who do. It will cut down on your clutter, and you still get yummy treats.
We're getting ready to donate the unused 3-year-old wok and the deep-fryer.
