With respect to the 3″ holes mentioned in the iPod post:

a) tool lending libraries also may have hole cutters
b) it is possible to cut a circular hole in a glass desk – it’s just a different tool

As for the year ago posts, I’m a little conflicted about them. As a relatively new reader, it’s a nice way to see some of what you posted in the past. On the other hand, I don’t really want to have to filter them out once I’ve been reading for over a year. Isn’t an archive section on the web site sufficient, really?

I agree with “I hate these”. This really just seems like filler – please rather focus on writing new posts and keep your RSS feed uncluttered, as I thought this blog was supposed to be about.

You had mentioned proudly in a previous post that you try to generate so many posts in a week (I forget the exact number) – these “A year ago” posts seem like a simple way to meet your weekly quota.

Quality over quantity please, Erin. Otherwise you will lose readers.

Too many of these Erin. It is almost enough for me to take your blog off my google reader. If I wanted to see what you blogged about a year ago, I would look for it.
