Workspace of the Week: Fold-away desk
This week’s Workspace of the Week is Joker the Lurcher’s fold-away desk:

I appreciate this desk because all of the peripherals and the user’s work product can be folded up with one, quick motion. Yes, the computer will still be visible on top of the desk, but all of the other stuff simply disappears. I like this for someone who works from home because it would make the separation between work life and home life concrete. I’m more than a little envious of this setup.

Also, don’t forget that workspaces aren’t just desks. If you’re a cook, it’s a kitchen; if you’re a carpenter, it’s your workbench.

Does anyone know where to get a desk like this?

@Jacque … You may try putting this question on the photo’s page here .

Unless this is for a really tall person, that screen is way above the head of someone sitting in front of it. That must be terrible on the neck. Also, having a bright window behind the screen is not a good idea as that would strain the eyes.

I love the design of those iMacs! The day Apple makes another Mac with that swivel arm, I will be first in line :p

Yes, this workspace looks nice, but how samgrover said it must be terrible on the neck for most people especially if you work a few hours/day in front of your computer.
