Workspace of the Week: Built-in home office
This week’s Workspace of the Week is radix33’s rudyoffice-m:

I like this office because it has so many wonderful things in its favor. It has a nice, large, uncluttered work surface, a good amount of behind-door storage, and it respectfully displays awards that radix33 values. The orchid also brings life into the room, which is a nice touch. It’s clean, organized, and warm. The desk chair even looks inviting!
Want to have your own workspace featured in Workspace of the Week? Submit a picture to the Unclutterer flickr pool. Check it out because we have a nice little community brewing there. Also, don’t forget that workspaces aren’t just desks. If you’re a cook, it’s a kitchen; if you’re a carpenter, it’s your workbench.

While this may be nice for some people – and it does appear to be rather organized, I feel that it lacks warmth. It reminds me of being in the offices of senior management of major companies… I feel like this individual is trying to recreate that aura.

Clean, well-organised but so strict. To me, it looks like furniture displayed in a store and not in a real home ! i would find quite uncomforatable to work here.

I think that office space is dead sexy. I love furniture that looks old world and classy, it makes me want to buckle down and Do Things. Serious, classy things.
