When I go to the laundromat, I can get one or two week's laundry done in one shot, instead of dragging it out over the entire week at home. Time and resources both saved. The installation photos show no insulation. Leaving cold air in direct contact with a damp heat source. Which is great if you want mold. The Alternative Installation photo shows the insullation pushed aside and compacted. This reduces the effectiveness of the insulation.
