The trouble with this method is that you leave the cords permanently plugged in, which is an eco-no-no.

I did the same thing with a dresser drawer. Drill though the back of the dresser and feed the wires though. Clip them to the back of the drawer. Everything can be charged out of sight that way.

I use a double-height portable CD case, the zip-up kind. Inside is a four-point multiplug and all the chargers plugged in. When I want to charge, I plug it into the wall, select the appropriate adapter tail, and put the item on top of the CD case. After I'm done, I zip away all the cables (leaving the tails slightly out) and put it back in the bottom drawer.

Hmm. This gives me an idea for those unpainted wood boxes at the craft store, or an existing wood storage box if I could find one. That would look better on the side table in the living room and give me somewhere to put the interface cables for things like my MP3 player.

This is nice. Looks more informal than my holsters that hang in the kitchen where the cellphone and BB plug in. The Palms sit in their docks back here in the shop.

How do you deal with all those blasted wall-warts?

Not bad. I have a clay bowl I made in middle school that my mother gave to me- that's my collection point for keys, wallet, other pocket items. I may have to put a charging-station similar to Brian's next to that to keep everything tidy.

Thanks Jerry! The basket serves as my charging and syncing station and helps to clear up wire clutter.
